Licensing

Licensed Partners

Anyone may operate a Referee (R) node commercially under the uniform, published fee schedule in the LICENSE — no application or approval is required. Organizations listed here have additionally obtained RACKP's formal licensing certification, an optional attestation some operators request for their own enterprise or procurement needs.

Early Adopter Program

Organizations planning to operate Referee (R) nodes commercially can lock in a discounted license rate by committing early. This program is designed for teams who want to build on RACKP before the ecosystem matures.

How Licensing Works

RACKP is published under a source-available license that already covers commercial operation — no separate agreement is required to get started. All use under versions prior to v1.0.0 is free of charge.

Upon the release of v1.0.0, a license fee of USD 1.00 per billable artifact (CONTRIBUTION_RESULT or POH_CERTIFICATE) applies to Referee operators, with the first 100 artifacts per operator free. Keeper node operation and evidence anchoring carry no license fee, and private or offline deployments are exempt regardless of volume.

Academic, research, and non-commercial use is free; operators expecting to exceed the free tier can request an exemption. Organizations requiring formal licensing certification for enterprise or procurement purposes — including listing on this page — can contact RACKP.
